2020 Wreath Laying Ceremony Day
Pictures Due to COVID-19, in lieu of the traditional and public honor ceremony conducted on wreath laying day, this year a short video ceremony
was created for you. The web-link below will connect you to a YouTube video of the remembrance ceremony filmed for 2020. LINK TO VIDEO: https://youtu.be/aWnrL_Yyjyc Special thanks go to Unites States Air Force Tech Sergeant, Maria David, who stepped forward, helped film and then put together the video for Wreaths Across America at the Annapolis National Cemetery. And, thanks to all of you for understanding that our 2020 tribute required a different approach. We hope this video expresses to you why the mission of Wreaths Across America is so important every year. |
DID YOU KNOW?
Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, the mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, and more than 21,00 locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad. This includes the Annapolis National Cemetery.
Professional drivers from many trucking and logistics companies help haul veterans' wreaths
to all ends of the country. Many drivers are veterans themselves and have expressed that this is one of the most important loads they deliver. |
Six years ago, total local wreath sponsorships funded wreaths to honor less than 2% of the 2,996 veteran's graves in the Annapolis National Cemetery.
However, due to growing sponsorship support from ACPSAA and other local groups, over the past several years wreaths there have been wreaths to honor all of the interred veterans in Annapolis! ACPSAA member donations and support have been a significant part of that reality. Volunteer!
There is NO COST to attend or participate in a Wreaths Across America event and the events are open to all. There are also a number of ways you and your family can be involved. Refer to the bottom of this page for more dates and times when volunteers are needed. |
Thank you ...
... to all the sponsoring individuals and organizations for their generous giving and assistance in raising the funds needed for this year’s Annapolis National Cemetery wreath purchases:
|
... to the many who donated critically support for this year’s Wreaths Across America remembrance at the Annapolis National Cemetery:

And finally, our many thanks to: Annapolis' Wreaths Across America Volunteer Coordinator, Stuart Rice and her husband Bob Rice
who gave so much of their time and passion to coordinate the events at the Annapolis National Cemetery.
