DID YOU KNOW ???
Between 1774 and 1788 there
were 14 separate men

who held the title of "President"
... before George Washington

This first type of United States government, and the presidents
who served before Washington,
are mostly ignored by
mainstream historians.

* The Brown brothers are nephews of one of our own ACPSAA members - George Nassif!

Ellen Moyer, former Annapolis Mayor &
Penn State Alumna, helped champion the movement to bring this exhibit to Annapolis - where some of these historical events actually took place!

Photos above were taken during the special ACPSAA lecture and review of the President Before Washington exhibit on April 28th, 2018.
Thirst for more information?

None of the existing tours in Annapolis show you the places where Washington, Jefferson, Monroe, President Mifflin,
and others actually lived while they were here in Annapolis, nor do they take you to the Mann's Tavern site where
the 1786 Annapolis Convention was held.
To give you some insight,
Mark Croatti (former exhibit curator) has created a
"Treaty of Paris Trail" we think you would enjoy.
